The Multiple

This is a summer makeup essential for me.

The NARS Multiple is what put founder and makeup artist François Nars on the map in the cosmetic world. During the summer months, when temps are high and my patience for complicated makeup routines is at an all-time low, I wear virtually nothing else on my cheeks except this in the aptly named Malibu. As the name implies, the Multiple can be used anywhere on the face or body and I have done so quite a few times.

Because of the stick applicator and creamy formula, no brushes or applicators are necessary making it easy to transport (whether you're going to the office or to the Bahamas). Although it appears a bit dark in the tube and on the initial application, this color blends out beautifully to a rosy brown shade and adds just a hint of color that mimics a bit of a sun-kissed glow. I don't find the need to set with anything and it lasts all day for me, even after a hot humid day in NYC.

P.S.  My foundation also multitasks as a sunscreen.
