The Convertible Handbag

No, it's not a sports car, but it is almost as cool as one. This purse transforms from a cross-body bag to a fold-over clutch.

I Am the Goldilocks of Cheese Domes

My mom has a wonderful glass cheese dome that I envied for a long time. I set out to find an American-made version for myself. While I did find a few options, they just weren't right. They were either too expensive, too big, too fancy, came with an unnecessary base, or just... not my style. There just didn't seem to be one that fit the bill. I had almost exhausted my more-than-a-year-long search for one made in the USA, when I stumbled upon this version in an unlikely place.

Aloha, Coffee!

There is nothing better in the morning than a hot cup of coffee. No, really. I almost cannot function without it.

Spotted at the Restaurant

The breakfast I bought the other day came in this Duro paper bag, made by Maria Figueroa on July 7, 2011. Thanks, Maria!

The Toes Are Out!

With the temperatures rising, my feet have been exposed almost all the time now. I visited my local nail salon recently to make sure that my tootsies were summer ready and picked out this fun fuchsia color for my toenails.

Spackling

We had a little situation in the kitchen that caused a chip in the wall of the newly painted kitchen. Whoopsies! So, how to fix it? Why, spackle and touch-up paint, of course.

Thinking Outside the (Cigar) Box

Are you on the hunt for a gift for the main man in your life: a father, a brother, a husband, or a friend? Lucky for you Cloak & Dapper, an online men's general store carrying quality items made in the USA, is putting together these gift boxes that are just a bit different while still paying homage to the classics. Their cigar box gift boxes are just in time for Father's Day (but I really think this would be a great gift for any man on any occasion). They've made it easy by thinking of everything while still providing each customer with the chance to choose some of the individual details so that you really can tailor it to the liking of your gift recipient. It's a new spin on the "traditional" while at the same time offering an exclusive experience.

Top Posts for May

May has been a busy time for me at work (you know, my paying job) so I apologize if my posts have been a bit sparse. Nonetheless, it was a great month. Furthermore, there are great things happening on the horizon. My husband and I are making plans to travel to some fun places this summer as well as visit with family and friends (much needed, I miss you guys). There is also a strong possibility that some of my content will be published elsewhere. Details forthcoming. Now that the temps are rising, I am breaking out all my summer dresses and shorts and sandals and sunglasses. Ta-ta to the heavy sweaters, for now.

I have been finally lured in by that siren, Twitter. Please join me in the fun conversations going on over there: @TAMGTL
