American Made in the Medina
![]() |
Amy, Rabat, 2013. |
As this summer winds down, I've been thinking about all the wonderful things I've done over the past couple of months. By far, one of the greatest things has been my trip to Madrid, Spain and Rabat, Morocco. I got a glimpse into the cultures of these two capital cities, a nice departure from my own routine here in NYC. My visit to Madrid was filled with regal architecture, delicious tapas, late-night sunsets, rooftop bar cocktails, and miles and miles of walking.

Travel Bags
Last year, my toiletry bag had an unfortunate accident involving a mysterious flower that left a sticky film and giant purple stain that won't wash out. I am on the hunt for a new one and, of course, want something made in the USA. It needs to be stylish but practical. I don't carry a lot of makeup when traveling so it doesn't have to be too big, but I'd definitely need it to be large enough for some makeup brushes, some makeup, a nail file, and a comb.
