- Tissues -- and lots of them. I buy these Kleenex brand tissues in bulk at Costco. No need to skimp when it comes to blowing your nose, again and again and again.
- Cough drops -- I like these honey cough drops the best.
- Steam -- from the hottest shower you can withstand. I suppose if you're lucky enough to have access to a steam room or sauna, that'd be even better.
- Herbal tea -- Camomile tea with a bit of raw, local honey. Shot of whiskey on the side.
- Rest -- If I can, spending as many hours in bed. Catching up on blogs, reading a book, or watching movies on cable.
- Meds -- If all else fails, some serious OTC drugs with an expectorant (not made in the USA).
