I always like to have a souvenir from my travels that is not so blatantly a souvenir, but will always make me think of my trip when I see it or use it. I am a sucker for letterpress. So when I walked past Hammerpress studio in Kansas City, I knew I had to have some of their great prints.
This is part III of my account of my trip to Kansas City during Craft Beer Week.

Part II: Kansas City and the Belfry
Boulevardia poster. It was this 'Stay True' print though, which I spotted in their studio window while walking by, that I fell for right away. Printed on heavy, recycled dark gray 17" x 11" paper, she was destined to come home with me.
I also picked up these letterpress postcards: printed on heavy-duty, double-thick chipboard. I easily could have bought more than the five that I did.

Hammerpress' USA flag postcard series is pretty incredible. In addition, they carry other art prints, concert posters, calendars, gift wrap, and gift tags.
Thanks, KCMO, for a great trip.
