Nail polish: Essie Cashmere Bathrobe (from the Fall 2013 line). This is a gray that reads a little blue on me. Just like some of Essie's summer colors, it has flecks of shimmer so faint it's virtually undetectable.
Lipstick: Smashbox Photo Finish Lipstick in Flawless. It took me months to find the perfect nude lipstick and, as soon I had found it with this one, they discontinued it without a good replacement. Not cool, Smashbox.
Hair: in a ponytail. Because it's the weekend.
Sweater: Raglan Crewneck Sweater in Mocha from Emerson Fry (Fall 2013). Made in NYC. It came on Thursday beautifully boxed up and with an enclosed lavender sachet. I'm totally in love with the color, the weight, and the feel. Other than changing into workout gear for Pilates on Saturday, I didn't take this sweater off all weekend.
Although I wore mine with skinny sweats and my New Balance this weekend, this is how Emerson envisions styling it:

I missed that Essie was MIA! I need to pick some up--that is something that is likely within my price range :) that sweater looks divine....
ReplyDeleteNail polish is both a great way to support American made and to look a little more, well, polished. P.S. I think I remember the color you borrowed from me that you liked.
DeleteLove your sweater!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Amy. I really love it too. Would it be awful it I got another one in a different color?
DeleteNot at all ;-) I'm a firm believer in that if you find something that works, buy it in multiple colors.
DeleteI'm thinking about it for sure.
DeleteThat sweater is amazing. Knits are certainly an area that I'm severely lacking in the Made in USA department :(

Yes, American-made knits was one of the major things on my Fall Wish List.
