We had a little situation in the kitchen that caused a chip in the wall of the newly painted kitchen. Whoopsies! So, how to fix it? Why, spackle and touch-up paint, of course.
I like this spackle, purchased at my local home improvement store: DAP DryDex Spackling. It's so easy to use. It has a nice, thick consistency (just make sure to mix well) and dries. It goes on pink and is white once dry. Sometimes a second application is necessary. Sand lightly with sandpaper or a sanding block, wipe down, and you're ready to paint.
These Shur-Line plastic putty knives are also made in the USA. |

This is the only brand Joel will buy. We've used it to patch walls at pretty much every place we've lived at in the last 5 years and it's a really good quality product. It fills the holes left behind by our baby gates so well you wouldn't even know they had been there in the first place!
ReplyDeleteYou'll notice I didn't even mention all the things that have been patched in the bedroom. Those are some bigger oops.
