For Your Un-Valentine

I am not that into Valentine's Day as a holiday, so let's just call this an Un-Valentine's Day post. I mean, really, we should dote on our sweeties year-round. And not just on Feb. 14th, right?

Want a nice way to say, "Hey, I think you're swell?" Here are my suggestions for some thoughtful things for your sweetheart:

1. A handmade postcard or card from Tabletop Made:

I Like You Postcard (pictured above)
Because what doesn't say "I like you" more than a cute letterpress postcard? Kudos on the choice of blue. I dig it.

Be Mine Card
Another classic letterpress print. In red, like you mean it.

Hearts Notecard
Need a bit more space to write out your feelings? A notecard will do. Red hearts and nothing else, appeals to the minimalist in me.

2. Some chocolates from NYC-based Jacques Torres Chocolate:

Dark Chocolates 12pc
A box of a dozen premium dark chocolates in a variety of flavors. A little something for those of us that love dark chocolate.

Hot Chocolate - Wicked
This 18-oz tin of hot chocolate is laced with allspice, cinnamon, and two kinds of chili peppers. For a steamy, hot treat.

Espresso Beans
As if an espresso bean wasn't perfect enough, they smother these in milk and dark chocolate. Espresso + chocolate = match made in heaven.

3. Some personal care products from Badger:

Sweet Orange Aromatherapy Massage Oil
Give your loved one a relaxing back rub with some of this sweetly-scented, natural massage oil.

Classic Lip Balm 4-Pack
Four organic lip balms in Pink Grapefruit, Vanilla Madagascar, Lavender & Orange, and Tangerine Breeze flavors. These lip balms are one of my favorites. Perfect for keeping lips kissable.

Vanilla Coconut Every Day Moisturizer
A thick, balm-like moisturizer with coconut oil, olive oil, and vanilla is a luxurious treat.
