Mix and Match Swimwear

If you wait too long to get a new bathing suit for the summer, sometimes it's too late. I knew I'd need a new one this year, so I started shopping early in the spring. Instead of buying one, though, I bought two. In reality, I ended up getting enough to wear a different bikini for over two weeks. Confused? Let me explain.

These bikini separates are pretty cool in the sense that you can mix and match. The colors are bright, the fabric is a comfortable weight, and they have enough coverage for sitting poolside, swimming in the ocean, and everything in between. Plus, because some pieces are reversible or have multiple options, you really are getting more bang for your buck. Here's what I bought:
  1. Splendid Marcel Reversible Swim Top -- Triangle halter bikini top with navy and blue stripe on one side, solid navy on the other.
  2. Splendid Marcel Swim Bottom -- Navy and blue stripe bikini bottom, with side ties.
  3. Splendid Marcel Double Dip Swimsuit -- Navy bandeau top + removable halter strap + lightweight racerback tankini top. (Great for when you want to grab a drink or bite to eat.)
  4. Splendid Sunblock Swim Bottom -- Solid navy bikini bottom, with side ties.
With 4 different bikini top options, 2 bikini bottoms, and the optional racerback tankini cover-up, that means there's really 16 different bathing suits. I think I got quite a deal. Even better, all these pieces are on sale right now.

These, plus some more great swimwear options from Splendid:
