The Portland Collection, Spring 2014 (Part I)

Little Crane Pullover | Champoeg Romper

Here are some of my favorite women's looks from the Portland Collection's inaugural spring/summer line. All I have to say is: why, oh why, did they wait this long to design clothing for the warmer months?

See my favorite of the men's looks: The Portland Collection, Spring 2014 (Part II)

Pendleton definitely went sporty and channeled their inner summer camper with this collection. I'm really loving the prints, fabrics, and textures. This first look (shown above) is actually a knit layered over a romper. I really wish that it was a pair of shorts instead, but they didn't consult me beforehand about this matter.

Champoeg Romper | French Pete Travel Bag

Here's the romper without the pullover. I do like the notched lapel and the fact that it has lots of pockets, including differing chest pockets.

Olallie Top

Here's a fantastic geometric print made into a tiered pullover-style almost-no-sleeve blouse in soft, cool hues. Paired with some dark denim shorts and laced-up shoes.

Islet Silk Dress

The same print in dress form. Love it, especially the simple cinched-in waist and easy silhouette.

Camp Stripe Knit Dress

A sporty tank knit dress in red, white, and blue with striped detail. Of course.

Tumalo Camp Shirt | Broken Arrow Bandana

A relaxed, button-up shirt with chest and on-seam pockets. And a round collar.

Mill Tank Top | Broken Arrow Bandana

Logo tank, dark denim shorts, and a printed bandana. Where are campfire and s'mores?

Crooked River Parka

A bright red parka: half-zip, front kangaroo pocket, and a hood. Perfect for chilly summer nights on the beach.

Mill Tank Top | McKenzie Bridge Skirt | Short Sands Tote

A coral logo tank with a dark buttoned midi skirt. Patterned tote.

Olallie Top | McKenzie Bridge Skirt

Different versions of the midi skirt and tiered blouse in red.

Scout Lake Shirt Dress

They really nailed it with this short-sleeved shirt dress: round collar, patch pockets, shirttail hem, button details down the front and at the waist. Somehow, and I don't know how, the Portland Collection may have consulted my dream self with this design.

Scout Lake Shirt Dress

The back of the shirt dress show some great details including a tie-back at the waist.

Scout Lake Shirt Dress

The shirt dress in a bright, lake blue buffalo check. Wow.

Scout Lake Shirt Dress | Crescent Creek Backpack

The shirt dress in a red, white, and blue plaid.

Tumalo Camp Shirt | Beverly Beach Shorts

Their camp shirt in a navy buffalo check with patch detail in the front with sun-bleached shorts.

The Portland Collection will be shipping to boutiques in mid-Februrary. Items will also be available on the Pendleton website at the end of the month or in early March.

    1. Seriously. I'll be saving up for at least one of those shirt dresses though. I can see myself wearing one of them 24/7 in the summer.
